NHS Varsity Head Coach - Amanda Asher
Amanda grew up in Hartland, Mi. and played four years on the Hartland Varsity team. She made All American in her senior year at Hartland. Amanda was recruited to Adrian College where she played lacrosse for 2 years with coach John Sung. She then transferred to Central Michigan University to continue her studies and play club lacrosse. On the lacrosse team her junior year she was voted captain and in her senior year was awarded 1st team All American for her defensive expertise. Amanda was an assistant coach to the Albion College Women's Lacrosse team before moving back to the Northville area. Amanda is currently the administrator for the Northville Parks and Rec. girls youth lacrosse program.
NHS Assistant Varsity Coach - Katy Mika
Katy started her lacrosse career playing as a freshman at Hartland High School. Katy graduated as an All-American for Midfield. Katy continued to play lacrosse at Central Michigan University, where she played for four years. Her senior year Katy was named Captain. After graduating from CMU she started her coaching career. Katy's coaching experience includes youth lacrosse and a high school travel team.
JV Head Coach - Beth Donovan
Beth has completed her Level 1 & 2 US Lacrosse Coaching certification as well as the Double Goal Coach program through the Positive Coaching Alliance. Beth volunteer coached the JV B team in 2012 when tryout numbers surged which allowed for a healthy expansion of the program. Followed by assistant coach to JV in 2013 & 2014. In 2011, Beth completed her Women's Lacrosse certification and is an official for the women's game holding her Local rating. With her knowledge, training and dedication she will provide a great foundation to our program for all JV Players.
JV Assistant Coach - Kathleen (KR) Terrian
K.R. is a Northville High School Alumnus and played four years on the Varsity team. During her junior year of high school, she was recruited to play at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. K.R. finished her college lacrosse career by playing for both Grand Valley State University and Wayne State University’s club teams. During K.R.’s senior year, she was a captain and the President of Wayne State’s team. K.R. began coaching for Northville Parks and Recreation in 2014 and is now the Girls Lacrosse Coordinator.
